Tortoise Wormer
wormerdirect.com Tortoise Wormer Premix 2% is a Flubendazole based medicinal product for the treatment of intestinal helminthic worms and external ticks in/on tortoises. Effective on adult worms and eggs. Please read dosage amounts below carefully. Can be used as a regular routine wormer every three to six months if your tortoise is living outdoors, if indoors, worming once every 12 months is recommended. Use on your tortoise food for treating for worms and in bath water for both worms and external ticks. For hibernating species ensure you treat minimum seven days before hibernation.

Directions & Dosage on feed
Weigh, as accurately as possible, the total body weight of tortoise to be treated. Lightly mist the food to be treated with water prior to medication to help adhere the wormer to the food.
Use 1 level 0.5ml/0.3g, scoop provided, per 120g of body weight, lightly sprinkled over the daily feed. Dispose of unused medicated food.
If treating more than one tortoise we reccommend each tortoise to be seperated during medication to enable more accurate treatment.
Use within 30 days of opening.
DO NOT OVERDOSE.
Directions & Dosage by bath
Use a suitable container so your tortoise can stand comfortably with the bathing water level at the plasteron of the tortoise. This will allow the tortoise to drink and be able to lift its head above the water easily. Use 1 level 0.5ml/0.3g, scoop provided, per 800ml of lukewarm water. Stand the tortoise in the water for 20 mins.
One 20g sachet treats 8kg of tortoise body weight. One 5g sachet treats 53.2 litres of bathing water.
DO NOT OVERDOSE.

Store in original container between 12°C and 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Use within 30 days of opening. For animal treatment only. Always wear protective gloves and goggles when handling chemicals. Do not use in conjunction with any other medication. If symptoms persist consult your veterinary surgeon.
Disposal
Do not dispose of in drains or watercourses. Empty container completely and dispose of safely. Dispose empty container in dustbin. Dispose of unused product, in its original container, at a household waste site. Contact your local authority for details.

Harmful
Accidental ingestion by humans should be avoided. May cause sensitisation by skin contact. If accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Avoid inhalation, incase of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection.
